Why do urine becomes yellow in certain cases?

If this concerns a physical condition, I'd say you see a doctor for a clear answer.

If not (that is your health doesn't seem affected at all), yellow can come from any number of sources; primarily broken down hemoglobin, but food can also contribute. Yet like I said, sometimes it has to do with an illness such as hepatitis or liver problems or fever, high blood pressure, physical exertion as well as normal/over dose of certain vitamin pills. Why do urine becomes yellow in certain cases?
I've noticed it happens to me if I don't drink enough waterWhy do urine becomes yellow in certain cases?
Because your not drinking enough water.
You need to drink a lot of water, result.
Urine is yellow partly beacuse of the bilirubin that is broken down from the degradation of red blood cells, this is excreted in urine as urobilinogen (well, urobilin) which gives the yellow colour of urine. The more water you drink, the more diluted the urobilin becomes, hence the clear colour of urine when you have drank too much.
A couple things maybe responsible for the color of urine. What is consumed, drank, its quantity and quality or the lack of fluids. Also, an injury or an infection. Usually the more yellow urine indicates more blood or dead blood cells are being broken down by the kidneys. And food coloring. Some common things like vitamin pills, are purposely colored to let you know they are being absorbed.
