In what cases , when they call us ';animal';, it is degrading ?

And in what cases, when they call us '; animal ';, it is flattering ?

I am asking as a person and not as a ..rabbit!! :))In what cases , when they call us ';animal';, it is degrading ?
when they talk about our manners... for instance ';you're eating like a pig';, or when they say we're too stubborn for the occasion (';stubborn as a bull';), when we're mad (';mad as a cow';).

in sex it can be both ways... it implies both being very sexual, but also... too fast or exaggerating into it (rabbits are mostly known for having... too many little rabbits, lol)

when it comes to work, it means resistance and continuing of following a goal... I think it's flattering. In what cases , when they call us ';animal';, it is degrading ?
:) thank you!

Party Animal could be bit of like flattering not sure though.

Calling you animal while acting wild could be degrading, in-fact it is not degrading since others are appreciating your effort to become wild; hm........ confusing.
