Yes this is true,free housing,food,air condition when its hot,heat in the cold.It's really a hotel without any payment from the prisoner.

Happens all the time especially in winter. Even being in with the local scum for 30 to 60 days is pretty nice compared to doing the 'urban outdoors man' thing in a Chicago winter.

Yea, it's true especially in colder times of the year. They get themselves arrested have a nice warm bed to sleep in and three meals a day.

I have a nephew who can only seem to function in prison. He's only in his mid 20's and his life is pretty much over. He is a 4 time loser, and he is now to the point he is only comfortable in the company of other losers. He can no longer function is society where he has to act responsibly and account for himself. He is now relegated to wearing an orange jumpsuit and getting cheesy tattoos the rest of his miserable life.
