There seems to be alot of confusion or ignorance towards this subject. Awhile ago a boyscout leader caught national attention about his private life when the christian based association discovered he was gay. Like most ignorant groups they took it upon themselves to remove the man from the boyscouts and nationally tried to embarass him. They feared, I guess, that he would try to make them gay or try to have sex with the troop. These over zealous groups clearly confuse homosexuallity with petaphilia. They not only are not the same but aren't even remotely in the same universe. The hypocracy of it all is that they do not kick out petaphile priests who molest alterboys but just sweep them undernieth some other parishional rug.


These zealots will use thier ';Sodomite defense';, but wasn't that story about punishing the hederos for using manrape as a punishment?That story had nothing to do with homosexuals and if you read on Lot has sex w/his daughters.Do the christians even understand gay?Has there ever been any documented cases of someone falling victom to gay?

The Boy Scouts are a private group that can freely choose who they want in their organization. Just like the writers of 'The Advocate' are all gay. They are free to chose who they want in their organization.





So much for freedom and the first amendment when the gvmt forces the people to associate with others.
I agree, but ignorance is like the corner stone of society now...people do not want to understand what being a homosexual in tells..they thing that a gay man will come after their little boys, but in truth most pedophiles are mid to late 30's white men who are heterosexual. But religious zealots want to hide that fact.





Well with saying that I think educating people to the truths of the world will change the world..

In response to ';kiddiebugger';, I don't think the issue in the case of the Boyscout troop leader had anything to do with the government forcing people to associate one another, this deals with discrimination. It was fine for him to be involved in the group when everyone assumed he was straight, but the moment they found out otherwise, he was suddenly a predator. And for what? Because he's sexually attracted to men (key word being men, not boys!). It makes no sense.
This one time I was walking down a path, looked over at a squirrel, and accidentally ran into a tree. Knocked me plum gay. I eventually got over it by roaring and pulling out my own chest hair, but lemme tell you, I was worried for a while!





Yeah I don't get it either...if there was a god, don't you think he'd be rather angry about everyone putting words into his mouth but claiming to live by his name and molesting children?
